About Room 16
Room 16 is the main stream new entrant class at Kawakawa Primary. All the students are 5 years old and love coming to school and learning with Whaea Narelle, our kaiako. We are hands-on class that are learning to take responsibility for our learning and become our own teachers. We are discovering our learning skills through a process called learning through play. Have a look and see how we extend and challenge ourselves.

Room 16 is so ready for our 2018 learning journey. So far we have learned about the values of our kura and have talked about how we like to learn.
Together we are planning what learning experiences we want to share and are learning to be our own teacher.
